Laboratorio "Te Lo Spiego Io L'inglese" (7) Scelta del materiale e progettazione didattica

Dear lab students,
today we are going to begin working for 'Te lo spiego io il l'Inglese' blog. It is fair to say that YOU are going to start working on it, because now it is your go.

Here is what you are going to do:

1.  Get into groups of 4 (groups must be made of students of different levels)

2. Work with two computers if possible, go to Google.it and log in using a Google Account (if you haven't got one, just ask).

3. Choose, as a group, the material you want to feature in the blog 'Te lo spiego il l'Inglese. Here you have some links you can choose from: profpistillo.blogspot.it/2018/03/laboratorio-te-lo-spiego-io-linglese-1.html
Choose lessons, diagrams, exercises, texts, links and activity and material in general that you find interesting and helpful. Write down (copy and paste) the links to the activities you have chosen on a Google Doc. Give it the title as follow: Lab_Materials_surname_ surname_ surname_surname; share the text with the members of your group and with me prof.pistillo@gmail.com

4. Choose from your English textbook (SwitchOn 1 or SwitchOn 2) a topic you want to work on (tell me which subject you would like to pick).

5. Always as a group, make your lesson plan. You will have to prepare for the topic you have chosen:

• an online diagram (or three max)
• an online quiz (or three max)
• a presentation
• a video lesson

Use a Google Doc to prepare a document with your lesson plan, give the title as follow: Lab_LessonPlan_Topic_surname_ surname_ surname_surname; share the text with the members of your group and with me prof.pistillo@gmail.com

Today we are going to learn how to start a blog, but, first of all, let's make sure you understand what a blog is.

My dear 'te lo spiego io l'inglese' class students,

today you are going to learn how to create and edit presentations online, for free.

But let's revise some English grammar with a presentation first, just to see how effective a presentation can be.

Watch this other video (if you don't have headphones ask for a pair) and practice.

Step 3
Let's learn how to make an online quiz. Today we are going to focus on Google Forms which is a service of Google Drive to create online surveys and quizzes and send them to other people. Follow the instructions I'm going to give you.

Step 4
Now it's your go! take your English book and choose 3 question exercises and transform them into online quizzes (with the correct answers). Then give your classmates (at the computer next to you) the right link to your quizzes (you could send an email using Gmail) and ask them to answer the questions.
